Build a stronger, healthier relationship today.

In couples therapy, clients can expect a confidential, non-judgmental space to explore and address their relationship challenges.

Our experienced therapists support couples with issues such as:

  • communication difficulties
  • losing ‘the spark’
  • trust problems after affairs or infidelity
  • sex and intimacy concerns
  • managing life changes, such as after kids or before retirement
  • arguments and conflict
  • fertility issues and miscarriage
  • difficulty with future planning, such as marriage, location or children

During therapy sessions, partners learn effective communication techniques, conflict resolution skills, and strategies to rebuild connection and trust.

Our goal is to help each couple build a stronger, healthier relationship rooted in understanding, respect, and mutual support.

That has facilitated a near transformation for us in the way we think about and react to situations for which we have sought her help. Elinor is outstanding in every way and I can’t thank her enough for the support she has provided during our time working together.”

FAQ

Do you offer in person or online support?

We work fully online with all our clients, using Zoom. We find no difference in the outcomes for online therapy compared to in person sessions. In fact, we find that online sessions are more accessible and clients are not limited to the location of the therapist, which can lead to fantastic results.

Can you see me by myself if my partner doesn't want to come?

Yes, we are very happy to work with you as an individual if your partner doesn’t want to join for couple therapy. Working 1:1 means you have the privacy and space to explore your own thoughts and feelings, to understand more about your role in your relationship dynamics and to explore what changes you can make personally.

How many sessions will I need?

Although we can offer one-off sessions, we generally suggest that clients attend a minimum of 6 sessions initially. All our work is completely bespoke, based on your unique needs and diffiulties. As a result it can be hard to predict how many sessions a client will need, but on average most clients attend between 12-20 sessions.

How much do sessions cost?

The fees depend on the therapist that you work with and the sort of therapy that you are looking for. We do offer some low cost therapy slot but as a rule most couples therapy sessions range from £90-£120+VAT per session. All our team are fully qualified therapists & counsellors, and members of a professional membership body such as BACP or NCPS.

Can I attend fortnightly or monthly?

Generally, we recommend couples therapy happens weekly or fortnightly, depending on the therapist’s availability. Regular sessions allow therapeutic rapport to be established, and for you to demonstrate commitment to both the therapy process and to your relationship. Longer term clients may reduce their sessions to monthly as they move on from frequent sessions.
