Specialised Counselling for Couples, Individuals and Families
Who we are
The Relationship Therapy Practice is a team of skilled, compassionate therapists with expertise in couples counselling, psychosexual therapy, and individual relationship support. Our work is rooted in a collaborative and integrative approach, shaped by training in evidence-based therapeutic models and real-world experience. We support clients through a wide range of relational challenges – from recovering after infidelity to navigating the impact of parenting, separation, and low desire. Led by Accredited Relationship and Psychosexual Therapist Elinor Harvey, our team offers a warm, non-judgemental space where change is possible and conversations can flow openly. We also work closely with family law professionals, offering therapeutic consultancy and emotional support for clients going through divorce.
An Experienced Team
At The Relationship Therapy Practice, our team of experienced therapists share a deep commitment to helping individuals, couples, and families build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. With backgrounds in Transactional Analysis, psychodynamic psychotherapy, CBT, psychosexual therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based approaches, each member of our team brings their own specialism and warmth to the work. We offer a collaborative space where clients are supported to explore challenges and develop lasting change.
Registered and Accredited Therapists
All our therapists are either Registered or Accredited Members of recognised professional bodies such as BACP, NCPS, and COSRT, and we adhere to the highest ethical and clinical standards in our work. As a Resolution Associate Member, we also collaborate with family law professionals, offering therapeutic consultancy and emotional support for clients going through divorce.
According to COSRT’, accreditation denotes “advanced requirements around training, skills and knowledge. Accreditation shows you meet the highest standards and competence related to using the modalities of Psychosexual and Relationship Therapies. This level of membership indicates seniority and is sought after by service users, employers and fellow professionals as a sign of quality.”

WHY SEEK THERAPY?
Emotional Support
Experiencing relationship or personal difficulties can be overwhelming and having professional support from someone neutral can help get you through this, and give you the space to feel however you feel.
Grieving a Relationship
The end of a relationship can feel like a bereavement. Just as in death, it’s important to make time to grieve what has been lost.
Finding Acceptance
Without accepting the situation that we find ourselves in, we can feel stuck. Therapy can help you find ways to accept things, alongside the pain and distress, and help you find ways to move forward.
A Neutral Person to Talk To
Talking to family and friends is wonderful but sometimes we need someone neutral to talk to, so we can explore how we really think and feel without influence.
Gaining Skills & Confidence
We have worked with many clients going through relationship difficulties. We can use our expertise in this area to help you with your unique circumstances.
Moving Forward
Being able to process the past means we can help you look to the future with hope, and develop your inner strengths and self beliefs for the happiness to come.
