Separation changes family life. It does not have to damage it.
Our Co-Parenting Coaching helps you reduce conflict, communicate more clearly and create steady routines so your children can feel safe and thrive.
At The Relationship Therapy Practice we work with separated parents at every stage. You may be newly separated and overwhelmed, or years on and still stuck in difficult patterns. Wherever you are, we meet you with kindness, clarity and communication tools that work in real homes

FAQ
Do you offer in person or online support?
We work fully online with all our clients, using Zoom. We find no difference in the outcomes for online therapy compared to in person sessions. In fact, we find that online sessions are more accessible and can feel more manageable for Co-Parents, which can lead to fantastic results.
However we may be able to attend meetings in-person at your solicitor’s office, subject to there being a suitable room available. Travel costs will apply.
Can you meet with our children too?
As we work fully online, we will only be able to meet with your children if they are aged 13+. For parents with younger children, we find that focusing on your adult co-parenting relationship is usually enough to bring about real change.
Do we need to be on good terms to start with?
No. You only need a shared wish to reduce stress for your children and to try new ways of working. We can work with you initially in a ‘shuttle’ arrangement, meeting with you each individually, with a goal of commencing joint sessions when you each feel ready.
We are unable to work with couples with a history of domestic abuse and/or controlling behaviour.
Can this sit alongside legal processes?
Yes. Co-Parenting Coaching complements mediation and legal advice. It does not replace legal guidance.
If wished by both partners, we can liaise with your solictior or mediator and attend legal appointments with you to help manage the emotions in the room.
How many sessions will we need?
Many Co-Parents make strong progress in 4-6 sessions. Complex situations may need longer. We will agree a plan with you at assessment based upon our professional experience, your situation and any key time constraints.
We will always meet with each partner individually to start with, before agreeing to commence any joint work.
