Enhance Intimacy and Sexual Wellbeing
Our psychosexual therapy services offer professional support for both couples and individuals dealing with sexual issues and intimacy challenges.
In a confidential, judgement-free environment, our experienced therapists help clients explore and address concerns such as low libido, performance anxiety, mismatched sexual desires, or difficulties with intimacy and connection.
Psychosexual therapy provides a safe space to discuss sensitive topics, understand the psychological and emotional factors affecting sexual health, and develop strategies to improve intimacy and satisfaction. Whether you’re in a relationship or seeking support individually, our therapy sessions aim to enhance your sexual well-being, build confidence, and foster a fulfilling, connected intimate life. Let us guide you towards a deeper understanding of your needs, helping you achieve a healthier, more satisfying sexual relationship with yourself and your partner.

“I found the sessions invaluable, such a weight lifted each week and really appreciated the insights and different ways of thinking through issues”
Mr & Mrs D
2023 Clients
“We found Elinor a friendly, positive person who was easy to talk to – all things we highly valued in a couples therapist. As it was the first time we’d had couples therapy we were apprehensive but she immediately put us at ease and continued to offer positivity throughout our journey. We appreciated her holistic approach as we improved our communication and sexual intimacy and she also offered good advice in seeking help from a women’s health physiotherapist when that specialism was needed. We would highly recommend Elinor to any couples thinking about improving their relationship”
FAQ
Do you offer in person or online support?
We work fully online with all our clients, using Zoom. We find no difference in the outcomes for online therapy compared to in person sessions. In fact, we find that online sessions are more accessible and clients are not limited to the location of the therapist, which can lead to fantastic results.
Can you see me for some individual therapy before starting couple sessions?
Yes, we are very happy to work with you as an individual first before commencing couple therapy. However we may suggest that you have couple therapy with a different member of the team to maintain a good therapeutic balance between both partners.
How many sessions will I need?
Although we can offer one-off sessions, we generally suggest that clients attend a minimum of 6 sessions initially. All our work is completely bespoke, based on your unique needs and diffiulties. As a result it can be hard to predict how many sessions a client will need, but on average most clients attend between 12-20 sessions. However this can sometimes be many more, especially when addressing longstanding relationship difficulties.
How much do sessions cost?
The fees depend on the therapist that you work with and the sort of therapy that you are looking for. We do offer some low cost therapy slot but as a rule most sessions range from £70-£120 per session. All our team are fully qualified therapists & counsellors, and members of a professional membership body such as BACP or NCPS.

Will I need to remove any clothes or talk about my sex life in detail?
Psychosexual therapy is a talking therapy. Although clinical exercises may be provided, these are for you to practice at home in your private space. You will never be asked to remove any clothes or show any parts of your body.
We appreciate that everyone has different comfort levels when talking about sex, so we will always explore this topic sensitively and respect your right not to talk about any particular topics.
