The Relationship Therapy Practice is rooted in Hampshire. Our founder, Elinor Harvey, lives and works here, and we understand the rhythm of life between the market towns, the commuter belt, and the slower pace of the downs and the coast.
We offer online couples therapy to clients across Basingstoke, Winchester, Andover, Alton, Whitchurch, Fleet, Farnham, Reading and the wider Hampshire and Berkshire area. Everything happens securely over video, so you can access warm, experienced support without driving across the county on a wet Tuesday evening.

The practice is led by Elinor Harvey, an accredited psychotherapist and family consultant whose writing and commentary has appeared in Psychologies, HuffPost and ITV Meridian.

We are a team of Relationship Specialists, with specialist trainings in Neurodiversity, Transactional Analysis, CBT, Person Centred therapy and Family Consultancy.

All therapists are insured and registered with UK professional bodies including BACP, NCPS and COSRT.

Because we’re based in Hampshire, we have established relationships with family lawyers, mediators, medical professionals and other therapists across the county. If you’re being supported elsewhere — by a solicitor, a mediator at a local firm, or a GP in your practice — we can work alongside them with your consent.

Do you offer in person sessions in Basingstoke or Winchester?
Our practice is fully online, which allows us to bring together a team of highly specialised therapists rather than being limited to one physical location. Most Hampshire couples find online therapy more practical once they’ve tried it.
We may be able to recommend you local therapists if you are looking for in person appointments.
Do you work with same-sex and LGBTQ+ clients?
Yes, warmly and without assumption. Several of our therapists have specialist training in working with LGBTQ+ relationships.
How much do sessions cost?
The fees depend on the therapist that you work with and the sort of support that you are looking for as every client is different. We do offer some lower cost therapy slots but as a rule most sessions range from £75-£150+VAT per session.
